Known issues on the 1994 GS 300. One recall is on federal record for this model year. It covers the front suspension control arm lower ball joint: the spherical portions of certain lower ball joints had finished surfaces that were not smooth, causing friction with the surface of the ball joint cap, and that condition can lead to separation of the ball joint, increasing the potential for a vehicle accident. Owners have filed 9 complaints for the year, and no technical service bulletins are on record. The diagnostic and repair procedures behind that system are here.
Whether you are checking the front suspension for play, tracing a fault back to its source or working through a scheduled service interval, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 1994 GS 300.
