Known issues on the 1992 Toronado. NHTSA shows 2 recalls for the 1992 Toronado. Certain 1992 Toronado vehicles were recalled because the stitched stop on the front outboard shoulder belt could catch in the retractor and keep some people from fastening it; a webbing stop button was offered. Certain 1992 Toronado vehicles were also recalled because the pinch bolt at the coupling between the intermediate steering shaft and the steering rack might be missing, so the shaft could separate and steering be lost.
