1992 Geo Metro Service and Repair Manual

A freshened nose and full-width taillamps set the 1992 Geo Metro apart from earlier cars. The new front spoiler was black on Base and XFi models and body-colored on the LSi, and a redesigned instrument panel added a cupholder and storage tray. Every version kept the 1.0L SOHC three-cylinder, in two-door and four-door hatchbacks and the LSi convertible. Known issues on the 1992 Metro. One recall is on federal record: a hood recall (93V189001) for mislocated spot welds on the hood striker assembly that can crack the inner panel and let the hood fly up while driving.
