Known issues on the 1984 Skylark. Of the 3 recalls, one covered 9,290 certain 1984 Skylark vehicles: bolts holding the rear axle control arm bracket to the frame could break, and if the bolts on one side failed the arm could drop far enough to sever a rear brake hose. Dealers replaced the bolts. Certain 1984 Skylark vehicles with throttle body injection could leak fuel at the feed pipe, risking an underhood fire, and certain two-door 1984 Skylark vehicles with AR9 or AV5 bucket seats had seat back locks that might not hold in a crash.
