The headline change on the 2026 EV9 is a built-in NACS charge port in place of the previous CCS1 socket, giving the three-row SUV direct access to Tesla Superchargers. Known issues on the 2026 EV9. Two recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the instrument cluster: a software error may cause the instrument panel display to fail, so the speedometer, tire pressure and warning lights may not show, increasing the risk of a crash. The second covers the front passenger air bag: because of improper routing, the Occupant Detection System may not deactivate the air bag when a child or child seat is in the front passenger seat.
