Known issues on the 2025 EV9. Four recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first concerns the instrument cluster: a software error may cause the instrument panel screen to fail, hiding the speedometer and warning lights. The second concerns the seats: the second- and third-row seat mounting bolts may be missing, so a seat may not properly restrain an occupant. The third concerns the propulsion system: the rear gear drive unit motor shaft may have been improperly welded and can fail, causing a loss of drive power. The fourth concerns the front passenger air bag: improper routing may stop the Occupant Detection System from deactivating the air bag when a child or child seat is in that seat.
