A Trail Boss package for the LT and LTZ, a larger touchscreen from the LT up and a new High Country Midnight Edition headline the 2025 Silverado 2500 HD. Underneath, the choice is still between the 6.6L gasoline V8, which also runs on flex-fuel, and the 6.6L Duramax turbodiesel V8, both paired with an Allison ten-speed automatic. Trims run WT, Custom, LT, LTZ, ZR2 and High Country in regular, double and crew cab form. Known issues on the 2025 Silverado 2500 HD. One recall is on federal record: on trucks with the enhanced towing option and the 20-inch accessory wheel and tire package, the tire information label may list the wrong rear tire pressure, leaving the tires underinflated without a low-pressure warning from the monitoring system.
