Known issues on the 2025 Equinox EV. Six recalls are on federal record. Door strikers that were not properly heat-treated can break and let a door open. Two separate campaigns cover the pedestrian alert sound, first for low volume from body control module software and later for too little change in volume between standstill and low speed. Adaptive cruise control on all-wheel-drive models may not brake as expected because of brake module software. The remaining two cover tread separation on 21-inch Continental all-season tires and vehicles delivered without an owner's manual.
