Known issues on the 2023 GLE580. NHTSA holds three recalls for this model year. A loose 48-volt ground under the passenger seat on certain vehicles could heat up to the point of creating a fire hazard, and dealers were told to check its tightness. Fuel pumps on certain vehicles were replaced after it was found they could shut off and leave the SUV without drive power. Certain vehicles also had rear door window trim bars that might separate while moving, so those were inspected and secured.
