Known issues on the 2023 F-450 Super Duty. Eight campaigns sit on the federal recall record for 2023. The gravest concerns steering column upper shaft bolts that may be missing or improperly tightened, which can disconnect the column and take steering control away; a second, also at the column, covers a clock spring with an insufficient weld that may deactivate the driver's air bag; a third involves an instrument panel cluster that can go dark and stop showing the speedometer and warning lights.
