Known issues on the 2023 LYRIQ. Seven recalls are on federal record for this model year. A software error in the driver video display control module can blank the instrument panel, hiding vehicle speed and warning lights; a separate 2025 recall covers the same video display going blank mid-drive, again wiping out the speedometer, warning lights, and rearview camera image. High-voltage battery pack connections that are out of position or incorrectly welded can cause a loss of drive power. Incorrectly calibrated body control module software can silence the pedestrian warning sounds the vehicle relies on at low speed. An improperly welded rear seat belt anchor bracket may not restrain an occupant as intended in a crash. The anti-lock brake system can activate unexpectedly and release brake pressure in the service brake system on all-wheel-drive units. Loose front stabilizer bar bracket bolts can let the bar separate from the frame and damage high-voltage cables or EV battery coolant lines.
