Known issues on the 2023 SQ7. Two recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the occupant classification sensor for the front passenger air bag: an electrical connection at the seat's occupant detection module can loosen and deactivate the air bag, so it will not deploy in a crash. The second covers the backup camera system: a software error can prevent the rearview image from displaying, cutting the driver's view behind the vehicle.
