Known issues on the 2020 Outlander. The 2020 Outlander carries 3 recalls on the federal record. Two concern the liftgate: on certain 2020 Outlander vehicles its gas spring cylinders can corrode, lose pressure and rupture, or the liftgate can come down without warning, and one of those campaigns is limited to vehicles sold or registered in a named group of states. Both springs are replaced. The third covers certain vehicles whose right-side second-row seat belt may have been assembled wrongly. Of the 31 complaints, 11 name the electrical system and 6 forward collision avoidance, with air bags at 4. Five filings noted a crash and 4 noted an injury.
