Known issues on the 2020 E53 AMG. Ten recalls are recorded for this year. One covered certain cars whose front passenger seat limiter could let the seat slide too near the air bag, raising injury risk if it deployed, and dealers recalibrated the limiter. Another affected certain cars in which the transmission wiring harness connection was wired incorrectly in production or during a previous recall repair, allowing corrosion and a short circuit that could lead to fire.
