Known issues on the 2020 XT5. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two involve overcured Continental tires that can develop a sidewall break or belt edge separation, leading to sudden air loss and possible loss of vehicle control. Another covers a fuel pump jet nozzle that can retain a manufacturing burr, blocking fuel flow and causing an engine stall without warning. A fourth covers the roof-rail air bag inflator, where an improperly crimped diffuser can separate during deployment and degrade the air bag's performance. The fifth covers an improperly crimped rearview camera coaxial connector that can cause the camera to fail or work intermittently, reducing rear visibility.
