Known issues on the 2019 Sprinter 1500. Thirty-eight recalls are recorded for the 2019 Sprinter 1500, and NHTSA filed a separate eight against the 2019 Sprinter line. On certain vans equipped with a manual parking brake and the seven-speed automatic, a fatigued parking pawl guide bushing could keep the pawl from engaging and let the van roll away; certain others could start with a blank instrument cluster. Five complaints name this van, including ones on power train, stability control and steering, and one reported a crash; a further four complaints were filed against the 2019 Sprinter line.
