2018 Genesis G90 Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2018 Genesis G90 divides neatly: one four-door sedan body and two trims, Premium and Ultimate, against two gasoline engines that share almost nothing — a turbocharged 3.3L DOHC V6 and a naturally aspirated 5.0L DOHC V8. Everything downstream of the engine bay is common, so the transmission, driveline, suspension, steering, brake and body electrical sections read once and apply to both, while the engine chapters keep separate clearances, torque figures, sensor values and test procedures.

Known issues on the 2018 G90. Four recalls stand against this model year. A turbocharger oil supply pipe with a loose seal can drip oil onto the exhaust manifold, and a separate feed pipe can deteriorate and leak onto hot components; either raises the risk of fire. Water entering the starter solenoid can short it and ignite the engine compartment. The fourth is glass: windshields and rear windows bonded with the wrong primer may lose strength and detach while driving. Sixteen complaints are logged, 5 on the electrical system, 2 on the engine and 2 on the power train.
