2017 Genesis G90 Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2017 Genesis G90 gives one four-door sedan two quite different ways to make power: a turbocharged 3.3L DOHC V6 and a naturally aspirated 5.0L DOHC V8, both on gasoline, under the Premium and Ultimate trims. One has boost plumbing and an oil-fed turbocharger to respect, the other a larger displacement and eight cylinders of valve train, and the manual gives each its own specifications, torque sequences and diagnostic values instead of a shared engine chapter.

Known issues on the 2017 G90. Three recalls are on the federal record for this year, and two of them run through the turbocharger's oil supply: a loose seal on the supply pipe that drips oil onto the exhaust manifold, and a feed pipe that deteriorates and leaks where components are hot enough to light it. The third has water reaching the starter solenoid and shorting it, which can set the engine compartment alight. Of 24 complaints, 5 name the engine, 3 engine and cooling, and 3 the power train.
