2018 Genesis G80 Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2018 Genesis G80 is unusual for a single sedan body in the number of engines it must cover: three. A turbocharged 3.3L DOHC V6, a naturally aspirated 3.8L DOHC V6 of 231 cubic inches and a naturally aspirated 5.0L DOHC V8 all appear, and the trims follow the same logic — 3.8, 5.0 and Sport. Known issues on the 2018 G80. Six recalls are recorded for this model year. Two involve turbocharger oil plumbing — a loose seal on the supply pipe and a feed pipe that deteriorates — either of which puts oil onto hot engine parts. A short inside the anti-lock brake control module and water entering the starter solenoid can each set the engine compartment alight as well. Another covers glass bonded with the wrong primer, and one an occupant sensor that can arm the passenger air bag for a child. Complaints total 95: electrical 18, steering 15, engine 8.
