Known issues on the 2015 GL63 AMG. Three recalls cover certain 2015 GL63 AMG vehicles. The one with the most mechanical consequence affected certain vehicles built between September 29, 2014 and March 27, 2015, where bolts on the front or rear drive axle carriers might have been fitted incorrectly, leaving the rest to crack and making the SUV unstable; dealers replace the bolts. Certain vehicles equipped with the Active Curve System could vent foaming oil from a low reservoir, a fire risk. On certain vehicles, emergency call software that could relay an inaccurate location was also updated. The 2 owner complaints concern the electrical system and the engine.
