Known issues on the 2015 LR4. Four recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the fuel pump mounting flange on the fuel tank, which can crack and leak fuel near an ignition source, raising fire risk. The second covers the connecting rod bolts on the 3.0L supercharged V6, which may have been improperly torqued and can allow a rod to separate from the crankshaft, seizing the engine. The third covers the wheel lug nuts, which can crack and detach from the wheel hub stud, risking a detached wheel and loss of vehicle control. The fourth covers an ABS software error that can disable the Dynamic Stability Control, Roll Stability Control, Traction Control, and Hill Descent Control systems, increasing the risk of a loss of control. No complaints and no technical service bulletins are logged for the year. The factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.
From a connecting-rod torque check to a lug nut inspection or an ABS/DSC software fault, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2015 LR4.
