Visibility and wipers (5) lead, followed by air bags (4), structure (4), the electrical system (3) and the engine (3); 1 complaint reported a crash and 1 an injury. Certain 2010 S80 cars could develop an intermittent fault in the driver's air bag clockspring connector, so the frontal air bag might deploy poorly or fail to deploy; dealers fitted a metal shim. On certain cars, a missing signal from the central control module could keep the fuel pump from starting and cause a stall.
