Known issues on the 2010 Eos. The federal record lists 2 recalls for the 2010 Eos, both centered on the driver's frontal airbag. In one, certain 2010 Eos vehicles were recalled because pressure inside the inflator could build too high during deployment and burst its housing, sending metal pieces toward occupants; a replacement inflator was the fix. The other recalled certain 2010 Eos vehicles over debris that could foul the clock spring, the coiled cable that carries current to the airbag as the wheel turns, and tear it, leaving the bag unable to fire.
