Known issues on the 2010 ML450. Three recalls apply to the 2010 ML450. Two involve the brake booster: on certain vehicles, moisture could collect in the booster housing and corrode it, reducing braking or causing the brakes to fail, and owners were told not to drive until a dealer inspected and, if needed, replaced the booster. The third covered certain vehicles whose driver frontal airbag inflator could rupture during deployment and throw metal fragments at the people inside; the airbag module was replaced.
