Known issues on the 2010 Nitro. The 2010 Nitro has 3 recalls on the federal record. Certain left-hand-drive 2010 Nitro vehicles may have a badly formed flare on the brake tube running from the master cylinder to the hydraulic control unit, letting fluid escape and cutting braking; the tubes were replaced. On certain others, the clip that retains the brake booster input rod may be misshapen or absent, risking sudden brake failure; a new clip was installed. The last covered certain 2010 Nitro vehicles whose steering wheel emblem could be loose or absent, so a deploying driver airbag might fling it or its fastening nuts toward the cabin; dealers fitted a redesigned airbag cover.
