Known issues on the 2009 CC. Four recalls have been filed with NHTSA against the 2009 CC. On certain 2009 CC vehicles, the wiring harness for the right front passenger belt buckle may have been misrouted and could be damaged as the seat moved, causing the airbag module to switch off the passenger's frontal airbag; that recall covered 5,000 vehicles. Certain 2009 CC vehicles could also lose power to the fuel pump control module, stopping the pump and stalling the engine. Two further recalls concern certain vehicles whose driver's inflator can overpressurize and burst. Air bags lead 135 complaints with 59 and fuel/propulsion follows with 31; 5 complaints reported a crash, 1 a fire and 1 an injury.
