Late 2009 brought the biggest engine change of the VE era to the Australian-market Holden Commodore sedan. From the MY10 range released in September 2009, Omega and Berlina switched to a new 3.0-litre direct-injection V6, while SV6, Calais and Calais V moved to a direct-injected 3.6-litre rated at 210 kW; SS and SS V kept the 6.0-litre V8. Earlier 2009 cars still used the port-injected Alloytec V6. This service and repair manual covers both versions of the 2009 sedan with procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams, diagnostics and maintenance schedules, so you can match data to the engine fitted.

Known issues on the 2009 Commodore. The 2009 VE Commodore was built for the Australian market and never sold in the United States, so NHTSA holds no recall or complaint records for it. The manual's direct-injection, port-injection and V8 procedures cover the engine this Commodore actually carries.
