This factory service and repair manual for the 2007 Mercedes-Benz CL550 covers a two-door coupe with a single engine choice, a 5.5-liter V8 displacing 333 cubic inches. That V8 breathes without a turbocharger, uses dual overhead camshafts and runs on gasoline, while the lineup shows just one Base trim for the year. For the coupe's powertrain, suspension and electrical systems, the manual provides procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics.

Known issues on the 2007 CL550. NHTSA filed one recall against the 2007 C216-chassis models, limited to certain vehicles with Active Body Control, whose front struts carry acceleration sensors. Solder joints on those sensor boards could fall outside tolerance, so one front strut might react to body movement while its partner did not, leaving the front suspension uneven; dealers check the sensors and replace them where needed. Owners filed six complaints about the 2007 CL550: three on the fuel and propulsion system, two on the electrical system and one on the engine. One complaint reported a fire. The manual's suspension diagnostics, fuel system procedures and wiring diagrams apply to these areas.
