Known issues on the 2007 W4500 Tiltmaster. Three recalls are recorded for this model year, and two of them are about fuel escaping: a tank that can corrode through and leak, and a diesel line that can weep at its port on the supply pump, either one a fire risk near an ignition source. The third concerns oil pipe bolts that were not tightened enough in the plant and can loosen, allowing oil loss severe enough to seize the engine and slow the truck abruptly. Of three owner complaints, two are fuel system reports and one concerns the air bags — systems this manual diagnoses and specifies.
