The download I received was a complete waste of my money. Was not even close to what it was represented as. I thought I was getting a proper service repair manual. What I got was a collection of service bulletins. I sent an email to your company right after I looked through it requesting my money back. Have yet to hear a response. Terry Muich

It was much larger than i expected. 5 documents at 12k pages each. Its not something ill actually be able read but its easy enough to find what you need..
The Ford F250 manual is much easier to navigate at just over 8000 pages.
If i spend the money for Adobe Acrobat Professional ill be able to break it down into manageable bits.
Both manuals area great value for the money.

I wasn’t sure why I needed this to be a PDF, but it was apparent once I got it. It includes what would be thousands of pages if it were in print. The links take you to wherever you need to go in the text.

would rather have a maintenance manual. have a parts manual from parts vu company. only difference is that your parts manual has all together whereas the parts vu had to download the differsections individually.

Our original order was supposed to be for our 2014 Subaru Outback, yet the manual came up as Forester. We did have to purchase a new manual in order for them to send us the correct manual. We hope it will help us repair our Subaru.

Written against the 2004 RX 330 specifically, this Lexus service and repair manual ties every clearance, torque value and diagnostic tree to the 3.3L V6 (3MZ-FE) and the driveline your vehicle actually left the assembly plant with, instead of a figure carried over from an adjacent model year.

Engines

  • 3.3L V6 GAS Naturally Aspirated

Trims

  • AWD
  • FWD

Known issues on the 2004 RX 330. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year. One covers engine and engine cooling: the amount of adhesive applied between the outer ring and the torsional rubber damper of the crankshaft pulley may be inadequate, and if the adhesive is insufficient there is a possibility that the outer ring may become misaligned. In some cases the belt for the power steering pump may become detached from the pulley, which could result in a loss of power steering and a sudden increase in steering effort. Two more concern the accelerator pedal. On the first, if the forward retention clip that secures the floor carpet cover in front of the center console is not installed properly, the cover may lean toward the accelerator pedal and interfere with the accelerator pedal arm; if that occurs, the pedal may temporarily become stuck in a partially depressed position rather than return to the idle position, which may result in unintended and sustained vehicle speeds and make it difficult to stop. On the second, the two retaining clips for the driver's side forward center console can become loose, and if both clips separate from the floor carpet cover the cover may lean toward the accelerator pedal, causing interference with the accelerator pedal rod, a condition that may interfere with the accelerator pedal returning to the idle position. A fourth covers the rear seat belts: the anchor bolt for the rear, left-hand side seat belt buckle directly behind the driver's seat does not have sufficient strength, so the rear seat occupant may not be properly restrained in the event of a crash. The fifth covers the brake light switch, where a silicon oxide build-up on the contacts inside the switch can make it inoperable; if the switch is inoperable, the brake lights will not illuminate. Owners have filed 327 complaints for the year, and no technical service bulletins are on record. The diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.

From a dead brake light to the console carpet clips around the accelerator pedal or a scheduled service interval, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2004 RX 330.

NHTSA #11V53900009/11/2011Component: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING

TOYOTA IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2004 AVALON VEHICLES; 2004 AND 2005 CAMRY, CAMRY SOLARA, HIGHLANDER, AND SIENNA VEHICLES, 2006 HIGHLANDER HYBRID; 2004 AND 2005 LEXUS ES330 AND RX330; AND 2006 LEXUS RX400H VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM JUNE 1, 2004 THROUGH MARCH 31, 2005, EQUIPPED WITH THE 1MZ-FE OR 3MZ-FE ENGINE. THE AMOUNT OF ADHESIVE AGENT APPLIED BETWEEN THE OUTER RING AND THE TORSIONAL RUBBER DAMPER (INNER RING) IN THE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY MAY BE INADEQUATE. IF THE ADHESIVE IS INSUFFICIENT, THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT THE OUTER RING MAY BECOME MISALIGNED AND IT MAY NOT PROPERLY ROTATE WITH THE INNER RING, CAUSING NOISE AND/OR ILLUMINATION OF THE BATTERY DISCHARGE INDICATOR LIGHT.

Consequence

IN SOME CASES, THE BELT FOR THE POWER STEERING PUMP MAY BECOME DETACHED FROM THE PULLEY WHICH COULD RESULT IN A LOSS OF POWER STEERING AND A SUDDEN INCREASE IN STEERING EFFORT, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy

TOYOTA WILL NOTIFY OWNERS, AND DEALERS WILL CHECK THE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY TO IDENTIFY WHETHER IT WAS PRODUCED BY THE U.S. SUPPLIER. IF SO, THE DEALER WILL REPLACE THE PULLEY WITH A NEW ONE AT NO CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING EARLY JANUARY 2012. OWNERS MAY CONTACT TOYOTA AT 1-800-331-4331.

NHTSA #11V11200024/02/2011Component: VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL

TOYOTA IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2004-2006 HIGHLANDER, HIGHLANDER HYBRID, AND MODEL YEAR 2004-2007 LEXUS RX330, RX350, AND RX400H VEHICLES. IF THE FORWARD RETENTION CLIP USED TO SECURE THE FLOOR CARPET COVER, WHICH IS LOCATED IN FRONT OF THE CENTER CONSOLE, IS NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY THE COVER MAY LEAN TOWARD THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND INTERFERE WITH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ARM.

Consequence

IF THIS OCCURS, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL MAY TEMPORARILY BECOME STUCK IN A PARTIALLY DEPRESSED POSITION RATHER THAN RETURN TO THE IDLE POSITION. A STUCK ACCELERATOR PEDAL MAY RESULT IN UNINTENDED AND SUSTAINED VEHICLE SPEEDS AND MAKE IT DIFFICULT TO STOP, INCREASING THE RISK OF A VEHICLE CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FLOOR CARPET COVER WITH A NEWLY DESIGNED ONE FREE OR CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING MARCH 2011. OWNERS MAY CONTACT TOYOTA AT 1-800-331-4331.

NHTSA #06V02300027/01/2006Component: SEAT BELTS:REAR/OTHER

CERTAIN SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 210, "SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY ANCHORAGES." THE ANCHOR BOLT FOR THE REAR, LEFT-HAND SIDE SEAT BELT BUCKLE DIRECTLY BEHIND THE DRIVER'S SEAT DOES NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT STRENGTH.

Consequence

THE REAR SEAT OCCUPANT MAY NOT BE PROPERLY RESTRAINED IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE FREE OF CHARGE THE REAR, LEFT-HAND SIDE SEAT BELT BUCKLE ANCHOR BOLT WITH AN IMPROVED ONE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON FEBRUARY 3, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT LEXUS AT 800-255-3987.

NHTSA #06V25300013/07/2006Component: VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL

ON CERTAIN SPORT UTILITY AND HYBRID VEHICLES, THE TWO RETAINING CLIPS FOR THE DRIVER'S SIDE FORWARD CENTER CONSOLE CAN BECOME LOOSE. IF BOTH CLIPS SEPARATE FROM THE FLOOR CARPET COVER, THE COVER MAY LEAN TOWARD THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, CAUSING INTERFERENCE WITH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD.

Consequence

THIS CONDITION MAY INTERFERE WITH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL RETURNING TO THE IDLE POSITION INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE TWO FLOOR CARPET COVER RETAINING CLIPS FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JULY 24, 2006, AND SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY EARLY SEPTEMBER 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT TOYOTA AT 1-800-331-4331 OR LEXUS AT 1-800-255-3987.

NHTSA #04V55800022/11/2004Component: EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BRAKE LIGHTS:SWITCH

CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES MAY BE EQUIPPED WITH AN IMPROPERLY DESIGNED BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH. A SILICON OXIDE BUILD-UP OCCURS ON THE CONTACTS INSIDE THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH, WHICH CAN MAKE IT INOPERABLE.

Consequence

IF THE SWITCH IS INOPERABLE, THE BRAKE LIGHTS WILL NOT ILLUMINATE AND CAN INCREASE THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH. THE RECALL BEGAN DURING DECEMBER 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT TOYOTA AT 1-800-331-4331.
