THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD. DEALER ACKNOWLEDGES THIS IS ONGOING IN JAGUARS UNTIL CORRECTED IN 2001.OFTEN THERE IS NO RESPONSE TO PRESSURE ON THE GAS PEDAL AND THEN SUDDENLY THE CAR WILL JUMP FORWARD. PR
WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL IS DEPRESSED IT IS LOWER THAN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL CAUSING BOTH PEDALS TO BECOME ENGAGED AT TIMES RESULTING IN THE CAR JUMPING FORWARD.
