The first covers the automatic transmission's shift-lock cable, which can move out of position over time and let the shifter come out of Park even with the key removed, allowing the vehicle to roll away and crash without warning. The second covers the driver's front airbag, where static electricity discharged in low-humidity conditions can activate the airbag as the driver enters or exits the vehicle, risking personal injury.
