This factory service and repair manual for the 1995 Chevrolet Lumina Van covers a four-door mini passenger van with one engine and one trim: a 3.8-liter overhead-valve V6 of 232 cubic inches, naturally aspirated and gasoline-fueled, in Base specification. There is no alternative powertrain to rule out and no equipment tier to verify, so the engine, transmission, chassis and body sections each describe a single vehicle, and a specification looked up here is the specification that applies to the van in the bay.

Known issues on the 1995 Lumina Van. The federal record for this van runs to seven recalls. Four attaching bolts at the steering column support bracket were under-torqued at assembly and can vibrate loose or drop out, ending in a loss of steering control. A lower control arm ball joint hole machined off specification lets the stud fatigue and break, with the same result. Elsewhere, a stress-cracked rear seat belt anchor plate can fracture in a crash, and a strained wiper switch feed wire can stop the wipers when the weather is at its worst. Complaints total 584, led by visibility at 93 and brakes at 83.
