The first covers the ignition switch: improperly manufactured contacts can make electrical accessories such as turn signals, wipers, lamps, power windows and the air conditioner malfunction when the car is started. The second covers the fuel injection system on V6-equipped cars: a failing internal injector seal can let fuel leak into the engine compartment, and leakage near an ignition source can start a fire. The third covers the driver's frontal air bag: static electricity discharged in low-humidity conditions while entering or exiting the car can complete a circuit through the steering wheel and trigger the air bag unexpectedly, risking injury.
