1994 Ford LTA9000 Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1994 Ford LTA9000 covers eight diesels, with the turbocharged 10.8L inline-six (661 cu in) new to the list, and two body styles, a medium-conventional tractor truck and, for the first time in this run, a medium-conventional straight truck, both Base trim. The other engines are the 10.5L six-cylinder (638 cu in), the turbocharged 10.0L, 14.6L and 14.0L inline-sixes (611, 893 and 855 cu in), the 10.3L six-cylinder (629 cu in) and the turbocharged, aftercooled 11.1L (677 cu in) and 12.7L (774 cu in) inline-sixes. Eight engines and a straight-frame option broaden the 1994 procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics.

Known issues on the 1994 LTA9000. One recall is on federal record for the 1994 LTA9000, and it is an electrical one: the connector where the tilt-hood-mounted lamps attach to the vehicle wiring harness was built without sealing plugs, so moisture, road salt and other contaminants can get in. No owner complaints are logged with NHTSA on the 1994 LTA9000. Connectors and harness routing of that sort are what the manual's wiring diagrams and diagnostics are for, and its procedures, specifications and torque values cover the eight diesels and both chassis types.
