This factory service and repair manual for the 1994 Ford F-600 covers two engines in the Base trim medium conventional straight truck: the turbocharged 5.9L inline-six diesel of 359 cubic inches and the naturally aspirated 7.0L OHV V8 of 429 cubic inches, which ran on LPG propane or gasoline. One diesel and one V8 keep the scope narrow, and the procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics cover each engine along with the chassis, including the tilt hood lighting harness that appears in the recall record for this year.

Known issues on the 1994 F-600. Two recalls are on federal record for the 1994 F-600: the accelerator return springs on the 5.9L rotary pump diesel can fracture and leave the pedal short of idle, and the connector for the tilt hood mounted lamps was built without sealing plugs, letting moisture and road salt cause crossed circuits, shorts or corrosion that can put the headlamps out. Owners have logged one complaint with NHTSA, on the exterior lighting. The manual's wiring diagrams for the front lighting harness and its throttle linkage procedures and specifications for the 5.9L diesel cover both of those systems.
