This factory service and repair manual for the 1994 Ford F-600 LPO is for the Base trim medium conventional straight truck and its two engines, the turbocharged 5.9L inline-six diesel of 359 cubic inches and the 7.0L OHV V8 of 429 cubic inches on LPG propane or gasoline. With only two powerplants and one trim, the procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics go straight to the diesel, the gasoline or propane V8 and the chassis, with the front lighting harness among the wiring the diagrams cover.

Known issues on the 1994 F-600 LPO. Two recalls are on federal record for the 1994 F-600 LPO. The accelerator return springs on 5.9L rotary injection pump diesels can fracture so the pedal fails to return to idle, and the tilt hood lamp connector was built without sealing plugs, allowing moisture and road salt to cause shorts or corrosion that can knock out the headlamps. One owner complaint, on the exterior lighting, is logged with NHTSA. The manual's wiring diagrams for the hood lamp circuit and its throttle procedures and specifications for the 5.9L diesel are the references for those two items.
