A replacement fuel return line can leak at a bleed valve that was not tightened to specification, and a replacement fuel filter can seal poorly at its connection — both raising the risk of fire. The third concerns the transmission shift cable, whose fitting end can separate from the outer conduit so that the selector lever no longer reflects the gear actually engaged, leaving the vehicle able to roll away or drive off unexpectedly.
