Known issues on the 1993 100. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the fuel feed line connecting the fuel filter to the engine, which may have been improperly manufactured and can result in fuel leakage. The second covers the fuel injection system on V6-equipped cars, where an internal seal in the fuel injector can malfunction and leak fuel into the engine compartment, creating a fire risk in the presence of an ignition source. The third covers the frontal air bag sensor and control module, which can fail to meet durability standards over the life of the vehicle and inadvertently deploy the air bag without warning, risking loss of vehicle control.
