Known issues on the 1991 Shadow. The federal record holds 5 recalls for this year. On certain 1991 Shadow vehicles the bolt securing the lower driver seat back could break, letting the seat shift while driving; a stronger bolt with a locking patch replaced it. Another recall, for certain 1991 Shadow vehicles, addressed a steering wheel whose stamped frame could crack away from its hub, and a third covered certain cars with front caliper guide pin bolts possibly left undertightened, which could loosen and weaken braking.
