Throttle-body fuel injection replaced the carburetor on the 1990 Samurai, giving the 1.3L SOHC four-cylinder 66 horsepower. The fixed-roof hardtop had been dropped after 1989, so the tiny four-wheel-drive Suzuki is a two-door convertible with a five-speed manual. Known issues on the 1990 Samurai. One recall is on federal record: the red plastic front seat-belt buckle release buttons can break and let pieces jam the buckle.
