Known issues on the 1989 LL9000. One recall is on federal record for the 1989 LL9000, covering secondary service reservoir air check valves that may not seat properly because of mechanical interference between a circular brass guide and a cylindrical ferrule. NHTSA logs no owner complaints for the 1989 LL9000. The manual's procedures, specifications and diagnostics for the air brake supply system, with torque values for reservoir and valve fittings, are the reference for that recall, in any of the three body configurations.
