Known issues on the 1987 R2500. No recalls appear on the federal record for the 1987 R2500 and no owner complaints are logged with NHTSA. With six engines available, the engine sections are where most of the book's bulk sits — fuel, ignition and valvetrain specifications for the gasoline V6, inline-six and V8s, injection and glow plug procedures for the 6.2L diesel — and the chassis beneath them gets the same treatment, with brake, axle, suspension and steering procedures, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics.
