Known issues on the 1985 K20. One recall stands on the federal record for the 1985 K20, and it concerns a replacement oil filter that can seal inadequately and let the engine lose its oil, with fire given as the possible consequence. A single owner complaint is on record, and it concerns the tires. Neither points at the truck's own hardware, so the engine lubrication procedures, oil pressure specifications and wheel and tire data are the relevant sections, alongside the diagnostics and torque values for the five engines and the chassis beneath them.
