1984 Dodge Aries Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 1984 Aries. There is 1 recall for this year. On certain 1984 Aries vehicles fitted with the fuel reservoir, a silver can mounted on the air cleaner, fuel could leak inside the engine compartment from the can's seam or its hose connections. Dealers replaced the hoses and the metal tube feeding the reservoir and either resealed or replaced the can itself. Two owner complaints are on record, 1 for the electrical system and 1 for visibility.
