Known issues on the 1982 L1113. Two recalls name the 1982 L1113. On certain heavy duty trucks equipped with hydraulic steering, the slot in the steering drag link that clamps the ball joint might not close completely, letting water in to corrode the link until it could break; affected links were replaced and the ball joint stud lengthened. The second covered certain trucks whose wheel side rings may have been sized wrongly for the rest of the rim assembly, so wheels and spares were inspected and rings or rims replaced.
