Yamaha wrote one book to span two seasons of the small motocrosser. LIT-11616-38-02 covers both the 2025 and 2026 YZ65, and the 2025 machine carries the code YZ65S.

Parents doing the maintenance between race weekends get the factory procedures rather than approximations: top-end service with piston and bore measurement, power valve work, clutch replacement, crankcase splitting and transmission rebuild, each with its clearances and torque figures. Carburetor settings and ignition checks are the specified values.

The chassis chapters cover fork and rear shock disassembly with oil quantities, brake and wheel service, bearing replacement and the frame fastener tables, and a wiring diagram is included.

Confirm YZ65S on the frame label if you need to be certain which season's bike is in front of you, though for service purposes LIT-11616-38-02 applies across both years.
