2025 Volkswagen Golf R Service and Repair Manual

The Mk8.5 refresh reached the Golf R for 2025, raising output of its turbocharged 2.0L inline-four to 328 hp and dropping the six-speed manual, so every car now uses the seven-speed DSG dual-clutch and 4Motion all-wheel drive with torque vectoring. A new Black Edition joins the standard Golf R, adding gloss-black trim and carbon-look interior accents.
