Refreshed for 2025, the K5 also gets a significant engine swap: the turbocharged 1.6-liter is gone, replaced on the LXS, GT-Line and EX by a 191-horsepower naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four, while the GT keeps its 290-horsepower 2.5-liter turbo. New headlights, taillights and an available pair of 12.3-inch screens round out the update, and the GT-Line remains the only trim offered with all-wheel drive. Known issues on the 2025 K5. Two recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first concerns exterior lighting: a software error in the Power-net Domain Controller may cause the parking lights to flicker, reducing visibility.
