Known issues on the 2024 Y. Of five recalls filed against the 2024 Y, one reached 27 vehicles: on certain utilities, the weld joining the seat recliner to the front seat back could let go, so the seat might not hold its occupant in a crash; service replaced the seat. Certain vehicles also had a tire pressure warning light that could fail to stay on between drives. Owners lodged 318 complaints, with forward collision avoidance at 120, back over prevention at 61 and the electrical system at 58; 72 complaints reported a crash, 4 a fire and 37 an injury.
